What is the recipe for a nut torte?

A while ago I got a book from the library called the Better Homes and Gardens New Cookbook, it was released in 2005 and is pink plaid. It was a special edition, and there was a recipe inside for a nut cake, not the German nut cake. I was wondering if anyone has it, I need to make it this Sunday since it is my mom's favorite cake.
