Is there anywhere I can get free hi resolution photos?

Search for "royalty free stock photos", you should get a few sites with photos that are free to use. Flickr and Deviantart also have royalty free photos, but you have to look carefully at the image description and make sure the artist doesn't have any special restrictions.
