Does anyone have the recipe for Marguerite Patten's Rubbed in Chocolate Chip Cake ....?

as found in "Marguerite Patten's Everyday Cookbook". There may be almonds in it as well ? I just cannot find a chocolate chip cake recipe anywhere !
