Can I use names of food from sci-fi movies and shows without getting sued?

There is a lot of food used in science fiction and fantasy worlds, such as the Klingon delicacy 'heart of targ' and 'Lembas' from Lord of the Rings. If I were to write a parody of science-fiction and fantasy in the form of a cookbook or cooking show, could I use the names of the dishes and detail how to create them with real life ingredient substitutes without the risk of getting sued?
