I need to know about a plate named Mina is from Israel?

Is a plate Named MINA i have one recipe made with matza and meet, but i know there is others made with lasagna and chicken. I have this recipie from a israeli cookbook but i need to know were is this plate come from. I think this is native of other country and have been adapted from the israeli gastronomy. thanks Beatriz
